On behalf of the Neoumanist Association, we are pleased to send you the  Newsletter. It covers activities of  Association in the last period. Wishing you the best,Your Neoumanist  teamDear readers,  at the beginning of  spring Neoumanist beneficiaries send you a traditional symbol of  spring in  Moldova- Martisor. We say; Seasons come and go, but everyone keeps in his soul a season. Try to keep the spring. Hope March 1-st brings you only joy, happiness and love! Love is in the air“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.” ― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist February is the month when love is in the air.  All around the worldSt Valentines’ day is celebrated on the 14 of February. In Moldova  love day is celebrated twice:the first time  on the 14-th of February and the second on the 24-th of February. The Romanian holiday  is called Dragobete. Every year Neoumanist staff organizes party for the beneficiaries to  show  them how much we love them and how important  is  for us their  presence They impress us with their experience, intelligence, tolerance, wisdom and advise. We are privileged to help them to have an active and decent ageing. We enjoy their happiness and  sense of humor. They are heroes of the time, many of them survive with miserable pensions, far from their children in bad health condition and afraid of future.  Our dear beneficiaries said that for them love is in the  air all  the year  not only in February. They send you their love.
The project Promoting the Active Ageing in Straseni/Republica  Moldova  is possible to realize due to financial support of ADA and   Diakonie (Austria), SOM (The Netherlands )
Local volunteering  “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth.” — Muhammad Ali. Volunteering can be done not only in special places or to special people, it can be done in your community, to your own neighbors or relatives. This is an example that the volunteers from Home care project are following every day.
10 community volunteers are offering support to the elderly that are in the worst situation.
Even they do not have much, they share their little with the others, that need more.
As a small rewarding Home care team decided to make small surprises for them and buy some gifts.
Good job!!!
Wish all of you much success in future.
The project Home care in the district of Straseni is possible to realize due to financial support of Diakonie (Austria) and BMASGK (Vienna).First visit  In November 2019 Neoumanist was visited by Nina Hechenberger, Head of department Diakonie from Austria. Nina met with beneficiaries of the Neoumanist projects and made home visits . Nina was accompanied by Susanne Riegler a journalist from Austria who made a documentary about Neoumanist projects. The reports about the projects and the beneficiaries were broadcasted on ORF Channel (Austria ) The staff and the elderly were glad to host guests from Austria. On behalf of the elderly and the staff, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for all the support offered to the beneficiaries of Neoumanist projects.“The set goal can release inner capacities and involve all human potential” ― Sunday Adelaja
Neoumanist Association for Education  has been visited by Mrs. Katharina Auer, Project Coordinator at Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, Brot für die Welt from Viena/ Austria.
During the visit, Mrs. Katharina had the opportunity to meet the beneficiaries of  Home Care project and to discuss with the beneficiaries of  Day Care Center.
The management team of the Association had workshops on the following topics: Project writing, Monitoring and Evaluation.
The Neoumanist team together with the beneficiaries express gratitude to  Mrs. Auer  for the visit and the provided support!
All skills are learnable.

Within the Noeumanist Association, weekly Hand Made Club  is organized. It aims to: develop the skills of realizing hand-made products, cultivate aesthetic taste and generate an environment suitable for creative development, improvement of motor and cognitive skills of the beneficiaries.
The works carried out bring much satisfaction to the elderly, as well as to the visitors of the center.Good things happen to good peopleThanks to the nice collaboration initiated in 2017 with NKC club from the Netherlands, Neoumanist beneficiaries received a humaniatarian aid in November 2019The humanitarian aid was possible to organize thanks to the support of the Kersten, the Strous and Seegers families. They collected, sorted, stored and loaded the goods in the Netherlands. The Kersten visited the Neoumanist twice as tour leaders of NKC members club and identified the need of replacing the beds in the residential home with hospital beds and also decided to donate some furniture and hygiene articles for providing more qualitative services. In the same time, we would like to mention the Boekestijn Transport Service Company from the Netherlands with office also in Moldova, one of Neoumanist partner, for free of charge transportation of the goods, their support and involvement. Neoumanist Association expresses deepest gratitude to the Kersten, the Strous, the Seegers families; NKC Club and Boekestijn Transport Service for the help offered to needy elderly.FundraisingOne of Neoumanist biggest challenge for 2020 is finding financial support for Rasarit Day care centre in order to continue the project. We had to announce that in July 2020 the project Fostering Active Ageing in Straseni/Republica Moldova financed by ADA, Diakonie Austria and SOM (The Netherlands) have to come  to the end but with some savings the project will run till 30 September 2020
This means that in time more than 250 elderlies will have to face the reality of their life and stay at home alone, hungry without any possibility to have a shower or to wash laundry. They will have no possibility to join the dance club, women club, chorus, inform themselves and take active part in the community.
In this way we ask people with big heart and financial possibilities to “adopt” an elderly and to join the campaign. You can spread the information, involve by donating on:
